NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY in london
Capturing your baby’s early days and weeks is so special. With their tiny fingers and toes, plump bellies, luminous skin, and bleary eyes, this tender time is so fleeting. I love to photograph the way they move, the intimacy and connection they have with their parents, and their unrelenting search for nourishment and comfort be it bottle, breast or simply contact.
This postpartum period is also a chance to capture and reflect on what your body has done for you. Be it hours, days, weeks or months after the birth of your baby, your body has grown and delivered a human being! Part of a baby photography session can also be to process, acknowledge and celebrate the incredible journey your body has been through.
Newborn sessions can be taken as early as a few hours after birth up to 6 months old. They can be held at my studio or I can visit the home or hospital where your baby was born and capture those blurry, oxytocin-fueled moments after labour. Alternatively, we can wait until you're settled at home. All newborn sessions are baby-led.

Newborn photo shoots in my home studio in Kensal Rise, North West London, are an opportunity to capture you and your baby in a calm and peaceful space interacting in the way that only you do. The hour is dedicated to documenting you and your baby's connection, and how you've transitioned from pregnancy to motherhood.
IN YOUR HOME
Newborn photo shoots at home are relaxed and intimate, documenting the sweet, raw chaos of those early days and months. My focus is always on the moments of natural connection, and what makes your story unique to you. Partners, siblings and pets are welcome to come and go, but mother and baby will always be at the center of my lens.
