These sessions are for people who are drawn to figurative beauty in art, and celebrating the body in all it's natural beauty, but not by the expectations often attached to 'boudoir' photography. Centred on presence rather than performance, these sessions are collaborative and thoughtfully composed — drawing on light, form, and personal expression to create images that feel timeless and powerful. There’s no pressure to perform or present yourself as anything other than you are.

I loved every moment of it and I’m loving the pictures more and more each day! I often look in the mirror or at pictures and find fault by habit, but I’m practicing looking at myself with more care and kindness. These pictures help me do so easily because you captured my face and body with such art! I can imagine myself looking back at these images when I’m a granny and thinking to myself: “Wow! The majority of my clients say that they are awkward in front of the camera, and are nervous about the shoot. It’s totally normal to feel like this, It’s my job to help you relax and I’ll gently direct you every step of the way. You can be as clothed or nude as you’re comfortable with, there are no rules. For nude portraits I will position you in the most flattering poses which will actually expose very little. Clients are always

surprised at how comfortable they felt throughout the shoot

and how much they enjoyed the process.

These portraits are about body positivity and beauty in authenticity. My home studio in Kensal Rise is the perfect quiet, secluded environment to take portraits of your glorious self.

'When I arrived, I told Sarah that my main aim was to just not disassociate! Which sounds extreme, but I cannot do justice to how much I hate having my photo taken. All I can say is that it was very much the opposite. Sarah’s incredible energy meant I was very much present, hearing her grounding reassurance and respectful instruction knowing I was in such safe, gentle hands. Her studio is so comfortable, a room in her home that feels warm and inviting. But it’s Sarah that makes this - not just for her amazing photography skills but also for all she brings to the experience. I NEVER thought I’d say this, but I’m hoping to treat myself again in September. Am I addicted already?!'
